DD214 Tour is a grass roots movement by rock and roll bands that explicity raises money for the play "Instant Messaging"

Instant Messaging is a theatrical play that tells the real life stories of soldiers who have been wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and are on the "road to recovery".

The play talks about how they are healing from wounds, and more importantly, how they are getting back to work in civilian life, and even creating their own companies.

How did the tour gets its name DD214?

A DD214 is an official U.S. government document by which soldiers can prove that they have served in the Armed Forces.

In other words, a DD214 tells prospective employers, mortgage companies, medical clinics, educational institutions, and other entities that the person bearing the document has served America, and is now due a measure of added respect.

Sponsors of Non-Lethal Products and Services are welcome to contribute to the DD214 Tour Events to benefit the Play "Instant Messaging" by making a donation to Olney Theatre, a 501 (c) 3 organization.
